

Two days ago, whenever I used the "publish to PDF" button, the entire program instantaneously crashed (I am used to the program locking and becoming non-responsive, with an error message sometimes referring to the "pdf converter is corrupted" or similar. Since two days ago, have cleaned up some of the mess in the registyry, WP will now publish-to HTML. Yes, definitely the Office 12's instability has now rendered the entire system unstable, again.

I have always dragged my feet for a year or two on upgrading my Corel suites, giving them time to clean up all the hacks and glitches etc,īut now i SERIOUSLY want to upgrade to X3 - but fear that there will be another 2-year cycle for Corel to get the new vulnerabilities and unstable mod's out of the application before I upgrade/install X3 (man, WP has always had me so scared, by its instabilities, and I simply cannot do without it for more than a day or two - when I first got this desktop, and WP was crashing all the time, I installed an extra gig of DDR2 Dram to the cache, which fixed the issues until the sytem restore last fall). This is new to me: WP12 will no longer generate PDF's at all. I am used to WordPerfect becoming non-responsive and/or crashing when using the File|Publish to|PDF.
